Thengal Manor Hotel - Jorhat

Thengal Manor is a hidden gem that pleasantly surprised me in many ways. the attention to detail in this hotel is commendable. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished, with large toilets that add a touch of luxury. Secondly, the staff here are warm and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. Lastly, the location of the hotel is simply perfect. Situated on the banks of the Brahmaputra river, surrounded by national parks, it offers a serene and picturesque setting.

All was perfect during my stay at this hotel.

The hotel's location near Majuli Island is a definite plus, allowing easy access to this unique destination. Additionally, the staff provides impeccable service, ensuring that guests feel well taken care of. From the basic amenities to the spacious rooms with large toilets, this hotel offers all the comforts one could ask for. The breakfast spread is simply delightful, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day.

All was perfectly fine and met our expectations.

Stayed at a beautiful colonial style cottage that had immense gardens with high walls. The staff was extremely warm and provided excellent hospitality. Loved the silverware at dinner and the amazing breakfast options, which were a unique experience. the serene location and historical feel made for a great romantic escape.

Although the cottage had a lot of family heirlooms, the clutter of bric a brac made it feel a little tasteless and dusty. The price seemed a bit steep for the overall experience, which lacked attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and service.

I had an very nice stay at this hotel. The staff, who were very attentive and friendly, made me feel right at home. The cleanliness of the hotel was great, and the attention to detail in the design and decor was superb. The hotel facilities were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden, meticulously maintained. The hotel's location right in the center of this town was ideal, as it provided easy access to transportation, including a short trip to Majuli island.
